View of Sklarek monument with meeting platforms hovering above canyon. Darker textures on this monument suggest heavier material and form, while lighter textures on the opposite monument emphasise a lighter and more fluid style.

A clear view of both monuments: the monolithic tower with subtracted rectangular prisms (left) and the stacked planes with columns separating two levels (right).
Hadid monument in foreground with multiple access points, levels, and suggestions of movement through rotated stair platforms. While cantilevered over the cliff, this monument appears to be docking into the adjoining monument on the other side of the canyon.

Architectural concepts of monuments
Monument to Zaha Hadid
This monument (seen here on the right) consists of flat surface areas at different levels with 3 large columns supporting upper levels. It is cantilevered over the cliff and hangs semi-suspended in the air reflecting Hadid's futuristic and dramatic buildings. The two levels in the middle which are connected to both monuments and suspended over the gorge constitute the meeting place or ''space in between".
Monument to Norma Merrick Sklarek
This giant monument (on the left) grid-like blocks which has the appearance of a monolithic block with subtracted right-angled prisms. This refers to Sklarek's architectural style of powerful, pure and simple geometrical lines, and functional aims. The monuments and there connected points are meant to convey the idea of a fusion of different styles. They can be seen as a spaceship (Hadid) docking into a solid base structure (Sklarek).
